Mullaperiyar: A water Bomb

Mullapperiyar, a dam situated in the state of Kerala, and mainly used for the irrigation and electricity needs of the state of Tamil Nadu, is under danger. The Dam is build around 100 years ago, while the British where ruling India, between under the agreement by the state of Madrass, and Trivancore, to irrigate the district Theni. The Dam was build in Kerala and leased for Tamil Nadu.

Now this 100 years old Dam is leaking last several years, and the Dam itself is situated an area very prone to earthquake, last month itself there are several tremors hit the dam, which is now a great concern for the people who live under the Dam. If the Dam breaks, around 3Billion people will loss their life, and 4 districts in Kerala will wash away. The government of Kerala, took the initiative to build a new Dam, to replace the old, and assured the Tamil Nadu Govt. and its people that, they will get the water from the new dam without any problem. Now the Tamil Nadu, Govt. who thinks emotionally, and politically rather seeing the situation under the ground ignoring the plea by Kerala, and rejecting the proposal for the new Dam. Here i wish to say to the govt. of Kerala, please the cancel the lease agreement and build a new dam, for considering the safety of 3 billion people, which is a priority than the Tamil Nadu’s Commercial aspects in this issue.

Supreme court struck down P.J.Thomas appointment, as a Central Vigilence Commissioner of India. The court said the touch stone of such appoinment should be institutional integrity as well as personal intergrity. Mr.Thomas, was appointed by PM’s panel with the objection of the Leader of the Opposition; he was an accused in Palm Oil Scam in Kerala, and most importantly he was served as the secrety of IT in the the notorious 2G scam period.

As supreme court said, the insitutional integrity and personal intergrity should be touch stone for such, constitutional appointment, unfortunately, our highest constitutional offices are filled by political consideration; wheather its the appointment of the Chairman of Human Right Commmison or CVC.

As Governemnt in its receiving end with this judgement, should come up with a fare and transparent system, which will makes India proud.

i think this theory is most suitable for the situation now. As far as my concern, the presnet situation of cirisis in all walk of life, weather its perosnal, financial, or any cirisis it will be exact phrase i can see worth it:

how we select a best friend? should we need to conduct a reality show for that, with lot more question airs. Thats what Paris Hilton is doing in Dubai, with a reality show she is selecting her best friend. what u need is to fill the application and answer her 11 question air, u can be elected.The idea is wonderful, may be becuase it may create a lot of wealth. But what is actualy the word means by Best Friend. A friend in life time u can share anything, u can trust for any time, i dont know how to define, but my best friend is realy trustworthy, loyal and i had great respect in him. what about u
